Vaibhavi Merchant HITS OUT at award show for nominating Salman Khan for 'Best Choreographer'

A recent award nomination has upset choreographer Vaibhavi Merchant. She was nominated for the Nashe Si Chadh Gayee song in Befikre, but the other song she choreographed was credited to Salman Khan.

The actor was nominated for Best Choreographer for the Jag Ghoomeya song in Sultan. She had admitted in an interview that Salman came up with the hook step of the song, but she feels it is unfair to make the whole song about one step.

An upset Vaibhavi took to social media to rant, ‘Why not nominate me as best actor for Sultan if you could nominate my dearest Salman for best choreographer Jag Ghoomeya?’

She walked out of event when the actor’s name was announced during the nominations. She is mad at the organisers for their bizarre pick of nominations, but does not want to make a point like Harshvardhan Kapoor, who questioned how Diljit Dosanj was eligible for Best Debut Award when he has done several Punjabi films.

It wouldn’t be award season, if there weren’t disgruntled actors and celebrities, no?
