Upasana feels she has been used by the makers of Comedy Nights Live in order to gain TRP.
All is clearly not well between bua Upasana Singh and the Comedy Nights Live team.
Remember we had earlier informed you that she has confirmed quitting Comedy Nights Live, which had replaced CNWK on Colors? Well, Upasana has now opened up about her woes and highlighted her issues with the makers of Comedy Nights Live. (Read: It's official! Upasana Singh aka Bua confirms quitting 'Comedy Nights Live')
According to an interview published in India Today, Upasana has revealed that there was no work satisfaction as the script was badly written. She said," I haven't worked in such a pathetic show before. On some occasions, I could not believe it was a comedy show because the script was so bad."
She further added that the makers of the show didn't fulfil a single commitment made to her earlier.
Reportedly, the actress also alleged that she feels she was roped in because the makers wanted somebody from Kapil's show to help them garner good TRP initially and now that they've got it, they've started making her feel useless in the show.
In the interview, Upasana also brought to light the fact that the makers kept on delaying the agreement and after four months when she finally got it, there were many unreasonable conditions including the term that she cannot do another comedy show and can be kicked out of the show in 24 hours.
Her grievances don't end here. She further told India Today that she has been paid for only two episodes till date while she was promised the payment after every 30 days. She said, "Now they are saying they will clear my dues only after I sign the agreement. Clearly, they want to trap me. But I want to tell them, that they can't stop my payment. I will drag them to court."
