Two 'Fifty Shades' sequels scheduled for 2017, 2018 release

Two sequels to 'Fifty Shades of Grey' are all set to hit the theatres in 2017 and 2018, it has been confirmed.

Universal Studios announced that sequels to the British-American erotic film titled 'Fifty Shades Darker' and 'Fifty Shades Freed' are scheduled to debut on February 10th, 2017 and February 9th, 2018, respectively, the Variety reported.

The sequels will continue the story of lead characters Anastasia Steele and Christian Grey, however, Sam Taylor-Johnson will not take the director's seat this time. 'Fifty Shades of Grey' is based on the novel of the same name by British author E . James.
