Twinkle Khanna in Twitter feud with Art of Living followers over comment on Sri Sri Ravi Shankar

Twinkle Khanna is known for tongue in cheek remarks and funny columns. But this time Mrs. Funnybones' trademark humour found her caught in a Twitter feud with Art of Living followers.

According to a report in Times of India, Twinkle Khanna commented on the issue of Sri Sri Ravishankar's comments on the Noble prize and Malala Yousafzai. The tweet read: "Sri Sri got his noble foot and half his beard stuck in his mouth in a yogic pose."

Upon seeing the furore, Twinkle Khanna deleted the tweet and apologised.

Didn't mean to hurt anyone's feelings was meant to be a joke and am old enough to accept an error of judgement on my part.

But for AOL followers, the damage was done. International director of Art of Living, Darshak Hathi tweeted at her saying, "Error of Judgement or Fear of #BoycottHousefull3. Anyway Being Old & Being wise is different thing."

Twinkle is not one to bow down to threats. Especially when it involves her husband. The author hit back with a tweet -

International director of AOL too deleted the tweet after getting it from Twinkle Khanna. But the conversation continued.

We don't know if the threats made by AOL will be forgotten or Housefull 3 will pay the price for offending the followers.
