TRP Report: 'Bigg Boss 8' does not live up to the mark

Last weekend Bigg Boss 8 got the rating of 2.2. And this week the numbers have dropped to 1.8. If you're wondering why the show is not working, we have come up with a list of reasons after talking to die-hard fans of the show. 

* Who are these contestants? Too many TV people. If people wanted to see them, would they not be watching the soaps? While Karisma Tanna is known, the rest are nowhere on the radar. Bigg Boss has a very different audience. The fans of these reality shows do not watch saas-bahu sagas. A bad idea to have the reality TV show full of TV stars.

* Salman Khan looks great in a pilot uniform. And that's where this whole 'plane' idea ends. The whole airplane crash site idea was a bore.

* Bigg Boss has gone soft. People are getting away with what they want. Depriving the whole team of weekly supplies is not enough. Nominate the culprits. Let's make this show more fun.

* Something new is needed. In recent years, fans of the show have seen it all. They need to be shocked. They realise that by now even contestants know what to do to get air time and votes. Change the game. It's time to make people jump up in their seats. 

Well we certainly hope the producers are keeping a close watch on the show and are doing everything to up the numbers.
