Time for a break for Emraan Hashmi

There have been numerous rumours about how actor Emraan Hashmi is miffed with actor Vidya Balan for walking away with all the credit for The Dirty Picture. The rumours got even stronger when Emraan didn’t turn up at the success party of the film that was hosted by filmmaker Ekta Kapoor. Whatever be the reason for it, the version of his friends for the no-show seems to be something else. It now seems that the Bhatts, who are producing his next film, couldn’t allocate any time for him to celebrate.

“After completion of The Dirty Picture, Emraan was whisked away to Delhi for the outdoor shooting schedule of Jannat 2. He couldn’t make it to success party because of Jannat’s outdoor schedule in Delhi,” says a friend of the actor, adding that the actor “was amused” when he heard that he was uncomfortable because of Vidya.

However it seems that Emraan has decided that he has worked too much this year and he now needs a break. According to the friend, the actor has now taken a break after he had completed his shooting schedule. But this time it is not for partying, but for his family. “He has taken a much-needed vacation and he will be in Goa till the New Year,” informs his friend.

This break has apparently come to him after two long years. “He is taking a break after two years. He never had an off during Christmas. But this time, he had planned it much in advance and he is not returning to work before ringing in the New Year with his family. He hasn’t spent time with his wife and son for a long time now,” the friend adds.
