Poor Zubeen Garg! The Assamese singer-actor might’ve thought it would be a great gimmick to promote his upcoming film Mission China while performing at a veterinary college in his home state, by bringing along a gun to the event after his shoot.

He went on to threaten to shoot audience members if they left. Sounds funny? Someone didn’t think so. The cops came, say reports, and frisked him while he was on stage and found said firearm to be a toy pistol. What’s funnier is that the film’s villain supposes he did that to speak out against gun violence in the state and promote peace. How that works is a guess!
Singers have been known to do crazy stuff during live gigs. We know this because history is replete with their laugh-worthy antics. By comparison to these crazy crooners, Zubeen’s gun-toting gimmick seems way too tame.
