This Kollywood lyricist has a connect with Salman Khan and 'Prem Ratan Dhan Payo'

He is well-known for his lyrics and now lyricist Madhan Karky has a special connect with none other than with Salman Khan and his Diwali film Prem Ratan Dhan Payo. 

This Salman Khan-Sonam Kapoor starrer, which released on November 12, has had most people gushing over the film and of course, Bollywood's Bhai.

So where does Madhan Karky fit in? Well, he had the privilege of writing the lyrics of most of the songs for the Tamil version of the film!

Madhan Karky says, "I worked on lyrics for 11 songs for the Tamil Version of Prem Ratan Dhan Payo which is titled Meymarandhen Paaraayo." Ask him what the translation of the Tamil title is and he says, "It means 'I'm mesmerised, don't you see?" Music director Himmesh Reshammiya has done the music for the Tamil version as well. The music for the Hindi and Tamil releases is likely to be the same except for the lyrics.
