This is what Emraan Hashmi's birthday gift to Mohammad Azharuddin is!

Actor Emraan Hashmi presented the first look of Azhar to cricketer Mohammad Azharuddin, who is celebrating his 53rd birthday on Monday.

The 36-year-old actor, who will be portraying the lead role in the film, took to Twitter to wish the former Indian captain.

In a sepia toned photo, Emraan is seen wearing a white test team jersy.

Filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt, who launched the "Shanghai" actor, said the movie will reinvent Emraan as an artist.

"The reinvention of Emraan Hashmi!," he tweeted along with the first look.

Prachi Desai, who will also be seen in the movie, took to Twitter to share the image too.

Directed by Tony D'Souza, the film is produced by Ekta Kapoor's Balaji Motion Pictures along with NP Singh and Sneha Rajani. "Azhar" will hit the screens on May 13.
