This brilliant deleted scene from Dear Zindagi makes us wonder why the makers edited it out!

Dear Zindagi came and released in November last year. In its own boundaries, the film performed quite well at the box office and received a thumbs up from the audiences and critics alike. But now, two and half months later, Dharma Productions has been putting out videos of scenes which got deleted from the actual film.

One such video featuring Alia Bhatt makes us wonder why it was edited in the first place. Alia, who played the strong carefree Kaira can be seen having an argument with an elderly man, who claims that 'aajkal ke bachche' don't know how to give respect to their elders.

Alia's character quickly reprimands him and explains it to him why she feels he's wrong and eventually makes a strong social point as well. Like many other scenes in the film, this one too has a great message and that's why we wonder why it didn't make it to the final cut!
