With Saturday saturday becoming the latest party anthem, here's looking at other Bolly songs that have used the seven days of the week to weave a song around them...

From counting numbers, listing the seven days of the week to using the calender, Bollywood films and songs have done it all. The 'track' record shows that such songs instantly strike a chord with the listeners. Whether it's Jhumma chumma de de or Aaj somvar hai - all of them have been chartbusters. Here's a lowdown on the calender songs...

Earlier, this hero complained that he couldn't sleep on Shanivaar rati in Main Tera Hero and now he is chiding his girlfriend for asking him to take her to a party on Saturday! The song from Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania has become a rage.

Sunday: Remember a movie called Sunday starring Ajay Devgn, Arshad Warsi and Ayesha Takia. It even had a song Missing Sunday.. Don't fret if you don't remember because this was a Sunday that people willingly gave a miss!

Tuesday: Somwar ko hum mile mangalwar ko nain, this song from Apnapan describes what happened between love birds Jeetendra and Sulakhsna Pandit through the week and by the end of the week they decided to be together for saat janam!

Wednesday: One of the best films was set bang in the middle of the week i.e Wednesday. Based on the Mumbai train blasts, Neeraj Pandey for reasons best known to him decided to set his movie between 2 pm to 6 pm on a Wednesday. Starring Naseeruddin Shah and Anupam Kher the movie was a sleeper hit.

Friday: The starting of the weekend is a favourite with Bolly makers. Then there's Thank God it's Friday, that Sonakshi Sinha crooned as she discoed in Himmatwala. Aaj hai Friday night mein chalun apne friends ke saath.. was Jackie Bhagnani's caller song in Faltu.
