Salman Khan might have landed in several controversies but most of the times, it's because the man speaks right from the heart. Admit it or not, in a PR driven industry, where every actor is dictated what to say and how to say things, Salman chooses to be different.

He doesn't mince words and says what he genuinely feels, when asked about any topic. But little does he know that each time he decides to be genuine and honest about a particular subject, it lands him in fresh trouble.

Recently, Salman was in Mumbai giving video digital interviews to a group of journalists. Suddenly, a section of the media ran stories about how the superstar has commented on the Indo-Pak relationship and urged the government to stop waging a war against the neighbouring country. Now, this has immediately spiralled into another huge row where a huge portion of the viewers and readers (who believe everything that's fed to them) might feel Salman is an anti-patriotic man.

But before you jump to conclusion, here's the real story behind the whole incident. So the scribe asked Salman - "There have been a lot of chapters about India and Pakistan's war. Tubelight portrays the Indo - China war. What does it show?

The superstar very calmly responded saying, "We have not touched that at all. We have just used it a sa backdrop. We have just shown that ki yeh jaldi se khatam ho jaaye taaki humare jawaan humare paas aa jaye aur unke jawaan unke families ke paas pohuch jaaye. So it's basically that. Jab jung hoti hai toh dono taraf ke log marte hai, aur phir families are left without their fathers and they have to spend their whole life without them."

He further added, "So whoever orders wars, they should be given guns and sent first to fight the war."

Our point is - where did Salman talk even once about the India - Pakistan angle that has been making the rounds? How does this one general comment about 'no war, only peace' make him an anti-national?

This isn't the first time the superstar has been misquoted or his quotes have been twisted. It happens too often with Salman that journalists take advantage of his nature and ask him pointed questions and then twist thw answer, according to their own wish. Being journalists ourselves, we do not subscribe to such kind of professionalism - one which has absolutely no ethics.

And before you all start calling Salman names, you guys should also watch the video below (from 12 minutes) to see it yourself. And decide what and how is Salman at fault.
