'The Lunchbox' actress Nimrat Kaur has received a certificate from Hollywood's Screen Actor Guild Awards, honouring her performance on the American TV series 'Homeland'.

Nimrat joined the season four of the political thriller to play the role of Pakistani ISI agent, Tasneem Qureshi. The cast of the show was nominated for best drama ensemble with 'House of Cards', 'Downton Abbey' and 'Game of Thrones. 'Downton Abbey' was the winner in the category.

The 32-year-old actress took to Twitter to announce the news.


Nirmat recently attended the 66th BAFTA Awards, where her film 'The Lunchbox', co-starring Irrfan Khan, was nominated in the non-English best film category but did not win.
