Martin Freeman has been added to the cast of Marvel's upcoming project Captain America: Civil War.
The 43-year-old actor, who's well known for his acts in The Hobbit' trilogy, Sherlock and Fargo, would now be a part of Disney/Marvel universe, Deadline.com reported.
The movie will see most of the Marvel superheroes including fellow franchise newcomer Chadwick Boseman who plays Black Panther.
Freeman has won Supporting Actor Emmy in 2014 for playing Dr. Watson, Best Actor In A Movie Or Miniseries nom for the FX anthology series Fargo, and had won the Golden Globe for the same this year.
The film has been slated for May 2016 release.
