The change I’d like to see is...

With the coming of the New Year, new resolutions and new wishes are made. Every star has his/her own wish list of things. But this time we decided to ask some of the stars something different, rather than the usual what-do-you-want in 2017. What do they want different in the New Year was our question and here’s what they had to say…
I would like to live differently…. fearlessly with less of planning and more of excitement. Because generally we act like mortals in all that we fear, and like immortals in all that we desire. I must live immediately, we don’t have forever.
I’d like to travel more, explore and meet people from various cultures and backgrounds.
I want to stress less and don’t want to be sad or worry. I want to be at peace working hard and being happy.
I would like to be kinder to myself and others. In this day and age, it’s become very easy to judge the other person and be harsh to oneself and worry about our shortcomings. Nothing can change or grow without love or kindness — so that’s what I would like for myself and others around me.
There are many things I want to do differently in 2017 — like do more movies, sing more songs and work out a bit more! And be more mad, for sure!
I wish that more people come forward and volunteer for Swachh Bharat Abhiyan and our country looks cleaner and more beautiful than it did in 2016.
I’m just a bad multi-tasker! I would like to multi-task better in the New Year! I tend to focus on the task on hand and forget everything else, even calling my family! They complain all the time.
For 2017, I would like to be more balanced in everything I do. And I want to make sure I always put myself, my health and happiness first. I want to strengthen my friendships and spend more time with my mom.
I loved 2016. It was so awesome that I can’t think of doing anything differently in 2017.
The one thing I want to do different in 2017 is focus on my happiness as I have been doing the opposite for the longest. I can’t elaborate... Some things are better left unsaid.
I want to work harder than I did this year because 2017 is an important year for me. There are a lot of interesting films coming up. Also, I’d probably want to travel a bit more than 2016. Work and travel — that’s my life.
I want to be able to spend more time with my mum and dad. I want to start reading more. Not just scripts and film related stuff but about history, geography, art, painting. I want to overcome my fears, personal and professional, my fear of deep-sea diving and fear of sky-diving. I want to laugh more and meditate more.
I want to do more films in multiple languages. I didn’t have the freedom to do that because of Baahubali 2. Now that the film is done, I will be taking up a lot more films.
I want to dedicate more time next year to development of my craft and personal study.
In 2017, I hope to discover more of myself and learn new skills. Every year, I try to learn something new because I feel that the more you challenge yourself, the more you grow as an individual.
I would like to travel a little more and spend time learning about other cultures. Why? Because you can never learn enough. There’s a whole world out there, after all!
