Sultan director Ali Abbas Zafar is tickled no-end by reports that after Salman Khan he is all set to work with Sylvester Stallone in his next.

Laughing at the rumour Ali says, “This is the best rumour I’ve heard about myself. I wish it was true. But it is not. I haven’t even started thinking about my next film. So where is the question of casting anyone?”

So what about that picture of Ali with Stallone that was posted on Twitter and which fuelled speculation on the Bollywood-Hollywood collaboration?

“Oh that!” Ali chuckles. “That picture with Stallone was taken when I was in LA crewing up my action team for Sultan. There is no film with him. Or with anyone else. Right now, I am sleeping off all the exhaustion that I went through to get Sultan into theatres in time for Eid. I will get back to work in September.”

Any idea what he would be directing next? “None at all. I’ve a couple of story ideas which I’ll develop while I take a break right now,” signs off Ali.

Incidentally, Sylvester Stallone is no stranger to Hollywood cinema. He played a small role alongside Akshay Kumar and Kareena  Kapoor Khan in Sabbir Khan’s Kambakkht Ishq.
