The Beatles, Kris Kristofferson receive lifetime achievement award at pre-Grammy gala

The Beatles and Kris Kristofferson were honoured with lifetime achievement awards at pre-Grammy gala at the Wilshire Ebell Theatre.

Starr and his old band the Beatles and Kristofferson were among an influential group of honorees with lifetime achievement awards and other honors, CBS News reported.

Yoko Ono and Olivia Harrison, the widows of Beatles John Lennon and George Harrison, accepted the honors on behalf of their late husband

The Isley Brothers, whose songs ‘Shou’ and ‘Twist and Shout’ were early touchstones for the Beatles, were also honored with a lifetime achievement award.
