Rana Daggubatti may call Hyderabad home, but the actor now has also made another base in Mumbai. He wanted a place in Mumbai because he wanted to have his own space to work, unwind and not stay in hotels every time he visits the city. Now that Rana has a base in Mumbai he is likely to be spending more time here. But he isn't in a hurry to ditch his career down South. A source close to the actor says, "Rana plans to simultaneously do films in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi. It just will need better planning. That has been Rana's pursuit even though he was based out of Hyderabad. But the last two years have been kind of dedicated to the magnum opus – Bahubali - due to which he couldn't shoot another film in Mumbai given the extensive time spent shooting and the need to maintain that look."

Now that the actor has wrapped up the movie, he will explore projects in Mumbai. The source says, "Eventually he'd like to build a life in Mumbai as well. But Hyderabad will always be home." Apart from Bahubali and Rudrammadevi, he is also a part of Neeraj Pandey's Baby that stars Akshay Kumar. And like Akshay, Rana too will be living in Juhu. The source adds, "The house is on a long-term lease. He looked around for quite a while until he finally found this one. It was exactly what he wanted. The house has a nice sit-out balcony which ends being quite a favorite with everyone who visits him. It also has a lovely barbeque grill." Well looks like the party has just begun at Rana's home.
