Thalapathy Vijay rang in his birthday on Saturday in a rather unusual manner. The actor took to Twitter and unveiled two new posters from his upcoming Tamil movie Bigil, giving his fans a huge surprise on his special day. Bigil is directed by Atlee Kumar.

The movie, which is slated to release on Diwali, was tentatively titled Thalapathy 63. The makers had releasd the first look of the movie which happened to be Vijay's 71st movie in his entire acting career. For the uninitiated, Bigil means a whistle, usually the one used during football matches.

Interestingly Vijay plays a football coach in the movie to women's team. The poster shows him in a dual role - of a father and a son. The father, from the looks of it, could be a local rowdy. While the first poster was an introduction to the characters, the second poster showed us four shades of the two characters. It appears that the father wanted to be a good businessman but ended up becoming a rowdy. Meanwhile the son looks determined towards his football game.

Here, take a look at the posters:

Vijay has collaborated with director Atlee Kumar for the third time after Theri and Mersal. Both the movies turned out to be a blockbuster and fans feel Bigil too gives out the same vibe. Nayanthara, who also worked with Vijay previously in Sivakasi and Villu, is the lead actress in the film. According to various reports, she would be called 'angel' in the film. The movie is also expected to star Shah Rukh Khan as the antagonist. Meanwhile Jackie Shroff, Kathir, Yogi Babu and Vivek have also been involved with the project.
