'Terminator' reboot sequels announced for 2017-2018

'Terminator' reboot sequels have been announced for 2017 and 2018 much prior to the release of its first film in the new trilogy 'Terminator: Genisys'.

'Genisys' is dated for July 1, 2015, followed by its sequel on May 19, 2017 and threquel on June 2 the following year, said The Hollywood Reporter.

Arnold Schwarzenegger will be reprising his role as the eponymous machine and starring alongside him are Emilia Clarke, Jason Clarke, Matt Smith and Jai Courtney.

'Genisys' will be directed by Alan Taylor, who is best known for helming 'Thor: The Dark World' and TV shows 'Game of Thrones', 'Boardwalk Empire' and 'The Sopranos'.

Directors for the two sequels are not confirmed yet.

The last 'Terminator' movie was 'Terminator: Salvation' (2008) starring Christian Bale and Sam Worthington.
