Telugu star Vijay Deverakonda makes it to Forbes 30 Under 30 list, makes the announcement in style!

If there’s one thing that stands out about actor Vijay Deverakonda then it surely is his inimitable style! He has a way of saying things and surely attracts attention. Known to be down to earth and very real, as opposed to the usual larger-than-life persona of South Indian actors in general, the youngster made it to the Forbes 30 Under 30 list. But what everyone has been talking is about the way he announced it.

The actor generally takes to Twitter to share big news and always leaves his fans surprised. On Tuesday, 29-year-old Vijay went back in time to recall how life had turned for him in a span of just three years!

Recalling how as a 25-year-old he found it tough to maintain the minimum required balance of Rs 500 in his bank, and his account was locked. He also recalled how, his father always suggested that it was a nice idea to settle before 30 so that you’d enjoy the success while young even as your parents are young and healthy.

The actor’s first breakthrough film Pelli Choopulu released in 2016. But it was Arjun Reddy that took him to another league altogether. The eventual success of Geetha Govindam catapulted him into star status making him one of those rare outsiders who made it big in the industry. The actor has shared in the past that one of his biggest happiness that came as a result of his success was being able to buy a house for his parents.

Vijay has meanwhile started his own clothing brand -- Rowdy Wear that is quite popular amidst youngsters even as he started off a production house to encourage young filmmakers with new ideas.
