'Tanu Weds Manu' will return to theatres with 'Season 2'

Directer Anand L Rai's Tanu Weds Manu released in 2011 was a super hit due to its peppy songs and unusual love story. The R Madhavan-Kangana Ranaut starrer  will now have a sequel.

Tanu Weds Manu Season 2 unlike other Bollywood movies, this sequel will take-off from the point where it ended. The star cast remains the same with actors R. Madhavan, Kangana Ranaut and Jimmy Shergill in the leads. While Madhavan is seen with long hair and thick beard sporting a rugged look, Kangana has the same look with her salwaar kameez and curly locks. She is said to play a double role in this film.

Kangana and Madhavan are  now married and the story revolves around the marital problems they face after four years of marriage. The shooting has begun in Lucknow and Madhavan posted a picture of the shoot on Twitter.

The film is slated to release on March 2, 2015
