Tamil film actor Vishaal raided a video CD shop in nearby Pollachi and seized CDs of new films, including his Poojai and handed them over to police. The owner of the video shop was taken into custody for interrogation based on a complaint from the actor, police said on Friday.

Vishaal, who has been camping in Pollachi for a film shoot, had sent two of his assistants as decoy customers to the shop last night asking for CDs of new films, particularly Tamil films. The shop owner showed them the CDs of 'Poojai' and 'Katthi', starring another popular actor Vijay, which were released only a week ago.

Vishaal, who was waiting outside, rushed in and took the pirated CDS, they said. The actor had 'raided' a video shop in Tirupur earlier this week and "seized" the pirated CDs of his new movie, police said.
