Swara Bhaskar's web series 'It's Not That Simple' to have a second season

Swara Bhaskar, who was last seen in the critically-acclaimed movie Anaarkali of Aarah, was appreciated for her stupendous performance in her debut web series ‘It’s Not That Simple’ released last year.

Considering the humongous response for the first season, the makers have decided to come up with season two of ‘It’s Not That Simple’ and the versatile actress is keen on being part of the web series that revolved around the idea of marriage, relationships, love and extra-marital affairs.

According to sources, the makers approached Swara to reprise her role, and she was glad to be on board. She loved being part of the web series. It was an adult drama and revolved around marriage, relationships, love and extramarital affairs. They plan to shoot between June and August this year and will take her character’s story forward.

“Swara isn’t shy of bold roles, and feels she is in a good place in her career, as she is being offered lead roles and important character roles in films as well as interesting subjects in web series,” adds the source.

The first season of the six-episode web series was directed by Danish Aslam (Break Ke Baad – 2010 fame) and dealt with marriage, loyalty, and the stature of a woman in a marriage. Danish will helm the project once again for the second season.
