Sussanne Khan and Hrithik Roshan shocked fans by announcing that they were ending their marriage of 17 long years. Khan had also moved out of her marital home to a new house, but now she has taken another step to make it official. Apparently she has started signing her emails as Sussanne Khan, her maiden name.

Ever since the separations, several reasons are been believed to be responsible for the split. Differences between the couple began with the news of Hrithik's alleged affair with his 'Kites' co-star Barbara Mori. Later the lip-locking scene between Katrina Kaif and Hrithik in 'Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara' was said to be a cause of distress for Sussanne.

There were rumours that Katrina and Hrithik grew closer during the shoot of their movie 'Bang Bang'. Arjun Rampal's growing closeness with Sussanne added to Hrithik's misery.

Hrithik reportedly made several attempts to reconcile but Sussanne was adamant she wanted to move on.

Hrithik recently spent his birthday, which was on Jan 10, with Farah Ali and her kids and his own sons Hrehaan and Hridhaan. The actor has been spotted spending quality time with his kids. He has also been seen spending time with his in-laws. He had reportedly been finding it hard to recover from his divorce and is getting help from his co-star Katrina Kaif to take his mind off it. The two have developed a strong bond helping each other with their relationship.

The divorce hasn't been finalised yet, as the court has granted them a grace period to reconsider their decision. But it doesn't seem like Sussanne has any intention of getting back with him as she is sticking to her maiden name and has apparently even got a new tattoo
