Sushmita Sen has shot for a short film, The Story of All Of Us. The film was initiated by the Wildlife Conservation Trust (WCT). The actress did not charge a fee for this and for her gesture, she was gifted a picture of a tiger by Dr Anish Andheria (he had captured it on the camera), President of WCT.

Sushmita has to lend her voice to a poem scripted by Social Access. Dr Andheria says, “Sushmita was inclined to support the cause of forest and wildlife conservation.  I shared my real-life experiences about wildlife and conservation. She was keen to spread awareness about forests. She also shared her belief about the connection between humans and Mother Nature through another three-minute sound byte —and that too without any script! The Wildlife Conservation Trust will always remain grateful to her. I am very happy about the outcome of the Story Of All Of Us. I hope that it will go viral and ignite the passion of safeguarding India’s magnificent forests and wildlife in many a heart. In fact, I hope the film appeals to a global audience. Water, oxygen, soil and climate control are the greatest gifts given to mankind by forests. It is time we give back something in return. It is time we stop injuring the last remaining forests on our planet. If we fail to do so, our future generations will never forgive us. Without forests and wildlife the planet will be a hostile place. Wars will be fought for water and houses will be broken for food.”
