Release of Suriya-starrer 'Memu' postponed to April 1st week, says director Pandiraj

Actor Suriya’s Memu—the Telugu version of Pasanga 2—has pushed its release back once again. The film is the dubbed version of Tamil movie Pasanga 2 which was released in Tamil Nadu in December 2015.

Producer Julakanti Madhusudan Reddy said, “Memu was first scheduled to release on March 18, but in the last minute due to some unforeseen reasons the movie got postponed to April first week. The official announcement on the release date will be made soon."

Pasanga 2 is a sequel of 2009 release Pasanga. Both the films were directed by Pandiraj. It features Suriya in a cameo and stars Amala Paul and several child actors. The film deals with the issue of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) among three kids.

The Telugu dubbing rights of Pasanga 2 were acquired by producer Julakanti Madhusudan Reddy under his Sai Manikanta Creations banner.
