Oscar-winning animated movie Frozen took the world by storm in 2013. Disney's marvel enchanted kids and adult alike. The song 'Let it go' featured on Queen Elsa, sung by Idina Menzel is now considered a classic.

So when it came to dubbing the movie in Hindi, it's rather fitting that Disney cast ace Indian singer Sunidhi Chauhan for the voice over of the misunderstood, emotional, ice queen Elsa. The versatile singer gave her voice to the dubbed version of 'Let it go' titled 'Fanaa Ho' in Hindi.

According to a report in The Hindu, Chauhan had to do a lot of research to get into Elsa's character even though she has watched the movie several times before. Agreeing with the notion that CGI characters invoke more emotions in the audience than actors of flesh and blood, Chauhan said, "The kind of humaneness I feel with these characters, most of the times I don’t see that in our films."

Sunidhi Chauhan said that in her singing career of over 20 years, she has been acting with her singing to bring the emotions to her songs. This time with the voiceover she had to bring the same to the conversations.

She hopes that they have done a good job with the Hindi version of 'Let it go'.

The dubbed version of Frozen is set to premiere on Disney Channel on Saturday.
