For long now we have seen Bollywood music fraternity discuss the newest trends in filmi songs. However, it seems like the Chaiya Chaiya singer has made his stance very clear. Sukhwinder Singh was offered a song titled Babaji ka ghanta from the upcoming film Meeruthiya Gangsters, which is being directed by Zeishan Qadri. But the singer found the title inappropriate because of which he turned down the offer. Confirmed Qadri, "Yes, he (Sukhwinder) was not cool with the title. We were behind him for almost 10-15 days, but then everyday he demanded to change the lyrics. I didn't want to do that so I let him go." However, they seem to have found a perfect replacement for Sukhwinder in Divya Kumar, whose recent song Jee Karda from Varun Dhawan's Badlapur has been topping the charts.

However, they seem to have found a perfect replacement for Sukhwinder in Divya Kumar, whose recent song Jee Karda from Varun Dhawan's Badlapur has been topping the charts.
"Sukhwinder was the first option, but when he turned it down, we approached Divya and he instantly agreed. In fact, he has recorded the song couple of days ago and it has turned out to be really good," adds Zeishan.
Talking about the film, Qadri said, "The film is all about quirkiness. It's a very entertaining film unlike other gangster films which are serious. Anurag (Kashyap) saw the film in December and he loved it. In fact, he has edited the film and made it crisper." Meeruthiya Gangsters stars Jaideep Ahlawat, Aakash Bhaiya, Shadab Kamal (B.A.Pass fame) Sanjay Mishra and Mukul Dev.
