Dan Stevens' daughter Willow helped design Belle's iconic yellow ballgown for his co-star Emma Watson in "Beauty and the Beast".

The 34-year-old actor, who appeared on "This Morning" show, says his then five-year-old little girl, was a great help to the Disney film's costume designers when they were working on the dress, reported Cosmopolitan.

Watson had come over to Steven's house for dinner when the designers were trying to decide on a design.

When Willow (now seven) overheard her father and the "Harry Potter" actress discussing the dress, she went into another room, grabbed a pen and paper, and came back later with five different dress designs.

She then had a talk with the actress, who played along and picked her favourite.

A few weeks later, Willow visited the film's set for the ballroom scene and saw the dress they had picked out, now made into a real gown.

"She just looked at me and went, 'Yeah, that's the one,'" Stevens says.
