Stars attend 'Game of Thrones' season 5 pre-screening event

To celebrate the return of the global phenomenon Game of Thrones, HBO Defined, hosted an exclusive Pre-Screening Event of the much awaited Season 5 premiere episode, even before its US premiere.
 
This event treated  fans to a premier advanced screening of the fifth season's debut episode. The event included giveaways and a photo opportunity with the replica copy of the Iron Throne!
 
Kiran Rao, Anurag Kashyap, Shruti Seth, Vir Das, Ashwin Mushran, Rohan Joshi, Cyrus Sahukar, Tanishaa Mukherjee, attended the special screening.

“This year, the show is creating an even bigger buzz than it did in the previous years. With the exclusive pre-screening, excitement around the Fight for Your Throne microsite and also the first time ever simulcast which gives Indian viewers the chance to experience the show simultaneously with its US premiere, we are creating an all-round experience that would simply gratify the fan’s wait for the next series and spike curiosity among many others”, said Monica Tata, Managing Director, HBO India.

 
Based on the bestselling fantasy book series by George R.R. Martin, the hit series is an epic story of treachery and nobility set on the continent of Westeros, where summers and winters can last years, and only the lust for power is eternal.
 
The highly anticipated fifth season of Game of Thrones airs in India simultaneously with its US premiere on Monday, April 13 at 6:30 am, and repeats at 10 pm, on HBO Defined. All subsequent episodes will air every Monday at the same time.
