Splitsvilla participant Parichay Sharma in 'Aur Pyaar Ho Gaya'

Parichay Sharma, who was part of the last season of Splitsvilla, is all set to make his fiction debut with Zee’s Aur Pyaar Ho Gaya. He will be making an entry as the lead girl Avni’s (Kanchi Singh) brother Aabhas, a rebel in the conservative family. “I have a mind of my own and don’t follow the rules set by my father. Involved in college politics and elections, I fight for a lot of things that I believe are correct,” says Parichay about his character. In fact, even in real life, the youngster, who hails from Delhi, followed his passion to become an actor with a vengeance. Weighing  110 kilos, Parichay joined a gym to lose weight and brought his size down to 65 kgs. “I had a good job in Delhi, but I always wanted to be an actor. After reducing my weight, I shot a portfolio after which I got some modelling assignments. I also featured on the cover of Mills & Boon,” he says proudly.

He then participated in Splitsvilla and shifted to Mumbai to pursue his dream. After giving different auditions for production houses he landed the role of Aabhas in Rajan Shahi’s show. Ask him wouldn’t it have been better to make his debut with a lead role and he says, “Lead roles are mostly positive. Here my character has several shades to him. With his father he is a rebel, but with his sister and mother Aabhas displays a softer side,” says Parichay who will be seen in the show from tonight’s episode.
