Sourav Ganguly to quiz Aamir Khan on a game show

Extending their camaraderie since their 3 Idiots days, superstar Aamir Khan has turned up as the guest for the millionaire game show hosted by cricket icon Sourav Ganguly on a Bangla television channel.
           
"Five days back I got a text message from Sourav requesting me to be a guest participant on his show. I then replied back Yes," Aamir, who had been producing a number of realistic films on social issues for past few years, said lastnight after the special episode was shot at a studio near thecity.
           
The 45-year-old actor, who said he enjoyed theexperience of shooting for the Bengali version of Who wants to be a Millionaire on Mahua Bangla, let out that he had never been into serious quizzing in the earlier days.
           
To a question about how many general knowledge bookshe had mugged up before taking the hot seat before dada, Aamir said "Oh, I did not read any quiz book."
           
"It's a game, you have come to enjoy the game," Aamir smiled conceding he answered some but flunked on few others.
           
Famed quiz master and Siddharth Basu, who had pioneered the Who wants to be the Millionaire format in India, said 25 episodes have already been recorded.
           
The programme's episode editor and Bengali filmmaker Sudeshna Roy said Aamir-Sourav chemistry on the show was electrifying.
           
When asked if Aamir answered the questions in Bengali, Roy said, "Yes, but I can't let out which query now."
