Sourav Ganguly to appear in Durga Puja music video with top Bengali actresses

More than one and a half decade back, Sourav Ganguly was seen in commercial matching steps with Bollywood heartthrob Hrithik Roshan. Now, Ganguly, popularly known as Dada among his fans will be appearing in another music video where he will be sharing the screen with top Bengali actresses, reports Zee 24 Ghanta. 

According to the report, Dada will be acting alongside Mimi, Nusraat and Shubhasree in this video for a commercial themed around Durga Puja, the biggest festival for Bengalis. The video directed by Raj Chakraborty will have music by Jeet Ganguli. The lyrics have been written by Priya Chattopadhyay. 

The music video titled Ganguly Barir Pujor Gan (Festive Song in Ganguly's house) is being shot currently. Jeet Ganguli, who has also tasted success in Bollywood shared a picture from the set.

In the picture, Sourav Ganguly can be seen in full festive mood with Shubhasree and Jeet.

Ganguly though is not new to the limelight. Apart from appearing in many commercials, Ganguly hosts the popular quiz show Dadagiri in Zee 24 Ghanta. Ganguly had earlier worked in a commercial with Tollywood heroines. But this time it is a full-fledged music video. For millions of Dada fans, it would be the perfect pujo gift and there is no doubt Dada would be giving a better performance compared to his awkward grooving with Hrithik way back in 2001.
