Sony acquires music rights of 'Finding Fanny'

Sony Music Entertainment has acquired the music rights of Deepika Padukone and Arjun Kapoor-starrer 'Finding Fanny'. The movie, helmed by 'Cocktail' director Homi Adjania, has an ensemble cast including, Naseeruddin Shah, Dimple Kapadia and Pankaj Kapur.

"We are proud to be associated with Maddock films and Fox Star Studios for one of the most promising movies of 2014. Mathias Duplessy, who has composed the title song 'Fanny Re' is highly creative and experimental with his compositions that suitably matches with the theme of the movie," said Sanujeet Bhujabal, Marketing Director, Sony Music. 

Guitarist and music director Mathias Duplessy of 'Peepli Live' fame, has composed the score for the film. The music of the movie will be out by August 11. 

'Finding Fanny' is based on a road trip set in Goa and follows the journey of five characters. It is slated for a worldwide release on September 12.
