Sonu Sood wants to raise money for charity through his shows

After Dubai, he will have a series of shows in Hong Kong, Singapore and Dubai again. Sonu says, “My Dubai show has Hrithik Roshan and Badshah, and this time we are in talks with lots of stars and singers. We got a huge response in Dubai and now we want to carry it to different parts of the world. Besides acting and production, I want to expand my horizons. My mom was a professor and would give tuition to her students often without money and she would tell me, if you have access to do good to someone apart from getting work for people, you should do it.” 

The actor adds that part of the proceeds from the show will go to his mom’s charitable foundation Saroj Sood Trust in Punjab, which gives scholarships to needy students. He continues, “To keep it running I must do shows. I believe that whatever I do, it always belongs to people. It is because of their wishes that I have achieved what I am today so what I earn has to be shared with people. Even when I was in engineering college I had organised a big show for the Nagpur Club bringing in the top models from Mumbai.”
