Sonam Kapoor cheers for Mahira Khan as she becomes first Pakistani actor to debut at Cannes Film Festival

Not just Bollywood beauties Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Kangana Ranaut, Deepika Padukone and Sonam Kapoor, Pakistani actress Mahira Khan has also been making stunning appearances at the ongoing Cannes Film Festival.

Shah Rukh Khan's 'Raees' co-star has now created history by becoming the first actor of Pakistani origin to make a Cannes debut on Monday evening. For the red carpet, Khan opted for a tube black dress with minimal makeup and red lips. She completed her look by accessorising it with a silver neckpiece and earrings. Just before the debut, she had tweeted about a last-minute wardrobe malfunction on her Twitter handle with the caption, "On my way you guys.. the dress didn't turn up, but it's raining and I'm nervous but maybe it's a sign."

Mahira shared stunning pictures on Instagram out of which in one of them she can be seen overlooking the blue waters, wearing a white top with a colorful dark-blue shrug.
The caption read, 'Feelin' blue never felt so good.?'

Mahira Khan, Sonam Kapoor and Jane Fonda are representing the same cosmetic brand at the French Riviera and sashayed down the red carpet together. When Sonam tied the knot with Anand Ahuja on May 8th, Pak actress also wished her lifetime of happiness on Twitter, to which Sonam instantly replied, 'Can't wait to hang out with you at Cannes.' A picture of the two actresses sharing a warm hug is doing the rounds on social media as well.
