Sonam Kapoor and Abhijeet Battacharya indulge in a Twitter war on Shobhaa De's tweet

It all started with Shobhaa De's tweet. On August 8, Shobhaa tweeted in the morning, defining the "Goal of Team India at the Olympics." Here's what she wrote:

Goal of Team India at the Olympics: Rio jao. Selfies lo. Khaali haat wapas aao. What a waste of money and opportunity.

Looks like B-Town's well known (for his controversial tweets these days) playback singer Abhijeet Bhattacharya found Shobhaa's views nasty and offensive. He decided to give a vent to his thoughts and tweeted:

Now apparently, Abhijeet's comments didn't go down well with Sonam Kapoor, who defended Shobhaa calling Abhijeet a "hypocrite."

The war of words didn't end here. Abhijeet then replied saying, "we all r hypocrites bt not the Khandani FILMI type hypocrites nor page3, we r proud of our players"

In her recent tweet, Sonam even defined 'hypocrisy' and wrote:
