Sonakshi Sinha and Aditya Roy Kapur to replace Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan!

Exactly two months back, it was reported that Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan will be paired together one more time, in Shaad Ali's next. The film, in question being the Hindi remake of Mani Ratnam's OK Kanmani. And now we hear, the director has decided to replace the lead stars of his film. It will be Aditya Roy Kapur and Sonakshi Sinha who will be paired together for the film now.

Sonakshi and Aditya have never been seen in a film before and this will be a casting coup of sorts. OK Kanmani which released earlier this year won a lot of accolades for its beautiful story and now that Ratnam's film will be remade in Hindi, Shaad Ali has decided to helm the project. 

Shaad had also organised a special screening of the film for his initial choices- Alia and Varun. But the two young actors are extremely busy with their upcoming films. While Alia has her plate full with Shaandaar, Udta Punjab, Kapoor & Sons, Shuddhi and Ayan Mukherji's next with Ranbir Kapoor, Varun, on the other hand will be busy finishing Dilwale and Dishoom before moving on to Shuddhi. 

Sonakshi who will be next seen in Akira and Force 2, has finalised her schedules and given a go ahead to Shaad for the film. Aditya Roy Kapur, on the other hand has Fitoor which releases next year.
