Two days back, Indian stand-up comedians woke up to the shocking news of The Viral Fever head honcho Arunabh Kumar's name being dragged in a sexual harassment row. An anonymous post on a website claimed that Arunabh had groped her and molested her.

While TVF has come out and refuted all such allegations, there are eight other women who have posted similar claims against Arunabh. Celebrities like director Hansal Mehta, scriptwriter Apurva Asrani and popular stand-up comedienne Aditi Mittal have expressed their anger and stated that harassment at workplace, be it sexual or mental,  should be denounced.

Actress Sonakshi Sinha also decided to speak up about the whole issue. The Dabangg heroine thinks it's time for women to stand up and talk about harassment happening at workplace. "Even today there are some women who are ashamed to talk about molestation and harassment at workplace thinking of the repercussions of a what will happen if they talk about it. Women still think they will be blamed for it," Sonakshi said.

"I think it should be made important for the government to take an initiative where they make women understand that they are not at fault if something like this happens," she adds.
