SLB to replace Ranveer Singh in 'Padmavati'?

Even before Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ambitious period drama, Rani Padmavati, goes on the floor there are rumours of Ranveer Singh being replaced in the film. The actor has been signed to play Alauddin Khilji who was obsessed by Padmavati.

Buzz is he  asked the director for a copy of the script. This has angered Bhansali, who had cast Ranveer earlier in Ram-Leela and Bajirao Mastani. Rani Padmavati is the third film in which the two are teaming up.

But now, speculation is rife about the filmmaker already approaching other actors like Shah Rukh Khan for the role.
Ranveer’s beau Deepika Padukone plays the queen of Mewar, while Shahid Kapoor is said to be playing her husband Raja Ratan Singh.
