SK 17: Sivakarthikeyan's next with Lyca Productions and Vignesh ShivN to go on floors from July 2019

Sivakarthikeyan, who is currently busy with a string of under-production projects, will team up with director Vignesh ShivN for his next untitled film, fondly called by fans as SK 17. The movie will start rolling from July 2019 and is slated for a grand 2020 release. Lyca Productions, known for bankrolling 2018's most significant projects such as Mani Ratnam's Chekka Chivantha Vaanam and Shankar's 2.0, will produce the film. 

Lyca took to its Twitter page earlier today on the occasion of Holi to announce the news, which was in the headlines a few weeks back, officially.

Touted to be a big budget film, SK 17 is said to be a commercial entertainer. Vignesh ShivN's last project was Suriya's Thaanaa Serndha Koottam that released in January 2018. He has been extremely busy with SK 17's pre-production and writing work ever since. Anirudh Ravichander has been signed to compose the music for the film, which marks his third consecutive association with Vignesh ShivN for a feature film after Naanum Rowdy Thaan and TSK. 

Sivakarthikeyan's upcoming lineup of films has been talking point on social media platforms now. He is currently shooting for director PS Mithran of Irumbu Thirai fame's next untitled film, SK 15 and has already signed Sun Pictures' SK 16 to be directed by Pandiraj, who introduced him as the lead hero in Marina. Siva is likely to shoot for Pandiraj and Vignesh ShivN's films simultaneously in July.
