Singer Madhu Priya takes back the harassment case against her husband

Telangana folk singer Madhu Priya, on Saturday, had lodged a police complaint against her husband for physically and mentally abusing her. But after being counselled by the Humayun Nagar police, she said that her husband, Srikanth, is a good guy and they intend to go for the second session of counselling, reports The New Indian Express.

Madhu Priya married Srikanth in October 2015 against the wishes of her family. Three months into marriage, the couple started facing problems. The singer alleged that she has been taking care of Srikanth for six months as he is unemployed and that her husband started demanding money from her parents.

After the counselling, the singer has requested police to not lodge a complaint against Srikanth. She will take a call on continuing the union after the second counselling session, reports the daily.
