Shocking! Scriptwriter of 'The Kapil Sharma Show' arrested for murder

The Special Task Force (STF) of Uttar Pradesh police, arrested Abhishek Singh aka Kera on August 5 for his involvement in the murder of a villager in Azamgarh. Reportedly, he was booked in 2009 along with his uncle Manoj for the said murder post which the duo was absconding.

Th police had put a cash reward of Rs 30 thousand on Abhishek who was living in Mumbai as Rohit Singh. According to reports that are doing the rounds, the police was tipped by an informer who had Abhishek's picture and noticed stark similarities in the features of Abhishek and Rohit who resided in Andheri.

Abhishek had adopted multiple fake identities including, Kera Singh, Rohit Singh and Baljinder Singh, to evade the law for 7 years. He was reportedly working on a contract with K9 Productions for The Kapil Sharma Show. From the time he came to Mumbai, Abhishek has done several successful comedy shows including The Great Indian Comedy Show on Sab TV and was also seen in the serial titled Code Red.
