Rahul is back in news... yet again for a wrong reason...
Ever since TV actress Pratyusha Banerjee committed suicide at her Mumbai residence in April, her boyfriend Rahul Raj Singh has been grabbing headlines for all the wrong reasons. Pratyusha's friends and family have accused Rahul's behaviour to be the reason for the actress' death. Although the case is going on, Rahul has found himself in another legal soup.
Reportedly, Rahul molested a 21 year old South Indian actress (name undisclosed) at Andheri's Bora Bora restaurant on Tuesday night. The lady who was molested has now registered a case against Rahul at Amboli Police Station. Rahul too filed an FIR a few hours later.
As per a tabloid, Rahul and his friend were drinking at the pub when the actress entered with her friend. Seeing them, Rahul approached the actress' friend and allegedly beat him up. The tabloid quoted the actress, "Rahul seemed to be in an inebriated state. At 12.30 am, when we were entering the restaurant, Rahul saw us and suddenly became furious. He approached us and started arguing with my friend and even hit him. When I tried stopping Rahul, he abused and hit me as well. When I approached Rahul’s female friend, who was with him at restaurant, she too misbehaved and said that whatever Rahul did was right."
The actress also added, "Rahul even said that I have handled many women like you. In Pratyusha’s case, police could not do anything with me, what you can do, you are nothing."
The police officials are probing into the matter and an officer from Amboli station told the tabloid, "We have filed a cross case under section 354, 509, 504 and 34 of IPC. We will verify CCTV footage and take statements in the matter. Further investigations are on before arresting anyone." But this is shocking, given that Rahul was recently embroiled in such a controversy. But like they say, bad habits die hard!
