Shocking! Drashti Dhami and Siddhanth Karnick to quit 'Ek Tha Raja Ek Thi Rani'

One of the most promising shows on Indian television - ZEE TV's Ek Tha Raja Ek Thi Rani - is going through a major revamp. Now it can be told. Both the leading actors of the film are quitting the show. 

Drashti Dhami and Siddhanth Karnick who are considered one of the most loved on-screen couple on the small screen will be bidding goodbye to the show that gave them so much fame. According to a report in a leading tabloid, the show will take an eight-year leap after the lovemaking scene between the two actors. 

Post the leap, the show will be focussing on Ranaji and Gayatri's children and that's why Drashti and Siddhanth are not willing to continue acting on the show anymore. Other than that, the two stars also didn't want to age on screen. Both Drashti and Siddhanth refused to play older characters. And now with their kids becoming the main protagonists, their characters won't be the highlight anymore.
