Everything was going fine. Sushant Singh Rajput and MS Dhoni were all smiles as they unveiled the trailer of the biopic for the audience. Neeraj Pandey's MS Dhoni: The Untold Story, produced by Fox Star Hindi has Sushant playing Dhoni.

We absolutely loved the trailer but right after the trailer was launched, something bizarre happened. The invites sent across mentioned that Dhoni will be present for a media interaction (the press con). But the entire marketing team of Fox had a different plan in mind.

At the last moment, after making the media wait for about 4 hours, the team informed the media that Dhoni will be leaving and won't take any questions from the media. That left the press fuming. Plus, the excuses that followed were hilarious.

Fans and media were called together and then fans were given the chance to ask questions and when the media protested, they were promised a round of Q and A with the Indian skipper. That didn't happen eventually and many media reporters staged a walkout. When we tried to put our point across, a representative from FOX came up with the strangest excuse.

"We were told Dhoni doesn't want to take questions from the media. How could we inform you at the last moment?," he said. Sadly, the production team showed no remorse and obviously showed no respect for the journalists they themselves invited for the grand trailer launch.

The media also tried to inform director Neeraj and producer Vijay Singh of FOX but both of them found the matter too petty to even react properly. Instead, they were just busy making fun of the situation. But like they say, don't rub the media the wrong way!
