Badmashiyaan starring Suzanna Mukherjee, Sharib Hashmi, Siddhant Gupta, Gunjan Malhotra and Karan Mehra is stuck in legal trouble. The Delhi High Court has restrained the distribution and exhibition of this film’s trailer. The reason, Multi Screen Media (MSM) and Kaleidoscope Entertainment Pvt Ltd have alleged copyright infringement.

According to MSM and KEPL, Badmashiyaan is a copy of the Korean film Couples and their yet to be released film, Mango. The makers of Mango claimed this relief based on an exclusive right that they obtained from the producer of Korean film to make the Hindi language remake of Couples.

MSM, in 2013 had announced their film Mango, which was to be helmed by Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na director, Abbas Tyrewala. The film stars Rannvijay Singh Singha, Chandan Roy Sanyal, Harman, Monali Thakur and Swara Bhaskar and is set in Goa. This film traces one night in the life of five youngsters, whose stories intertwine in an unlikely manner and changes their lives.

Well, looks like legal woes might just affect the fate of Badmashiyaan and its actors.
