Shahid Kapoor there for Priyanka Chopra !

Shahid Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra may have been together a long time ago, but he was one of the first actors to arrive at her residence when her father Dr Ashok Chopra passed away. The actor, who was to leave for a five-day trip to Shimla, postponed his trip by a day, so he could be by PC’s side in her moments of grief. Says a source, “Shahid and Priyanka had parted on amicable terms when they broke up more than a couple of years ago. 

They have kept in touch off and on through the years. Apart from their relationship, they were also neighbours and Shahid knew her parents quite well. Shahid not only met Priyanka at her residence, but was also present at the funeral. After seeing she was emotionally stronger he left for Shimla. The actor has returned since and has been checking in on the actress.
