Shahid Kapoor has completed a decade in B-Town. But he has never been directed by a female director. In fact, he has never even been approached by a one for a film. And he now wants to change that. Especially now that Ranveer Singh, who is just three-year-old in Bollywood, will be directed by Zoya Akhtar in his next.
B-Town has handful of ladies who have made a name for themselves behind the camera.
There’s is Farah Khan, Reema Kagti, (Meera Nair cannot really be listed here). He, particularly impressed with Zoya, says, “I am keen to work with Zoya. In a way, I think she is the most relevant new filmmaker we have had last year and I am very curious to work with a female director. I have never worked with one and I think women can see men... And it is very different from how a man sees a man. So I am really curious to see how a woman would direct me.” So are we Shahid!
